🗓️ Registration Details

Online Registration: Closes at 8:00am on Friday February 28th, 2025.
In-Person Registration: Available during packet pickup. No in-person registration will be available on race day.
Packet Pickup: Available Friday February 28th 10:00am-4:00pm and Saturday March 1st from 6:45am - 7:45am.

⏰ Start Date & Times

When: Saturday March 1st, 2025
Where: Lower Bidwell Park/ Sycamore Field
Event Start Times: 5K - 8:00am: 10K and Half Marathon - 8:10am.
Entry Fees: Non-refundable and non-transferable.

👕 Race Shirts

Race Shirt Guarantee: Every registered runner will receive a 2025 race shirt if registered before February 7th.
Shirt Size: To guarantee your shirt size please register on or before February 7th.
Leftover Shirts: Any leftover shirts after packet pick up will be available after the race at the Fleet Feet booth starting at 9:00am.
Packet Pickup: If you do not pick up your packet before the race, your shirt will not be saved for you.

📍 Course Certification and Maps

Course Details: The 5k and 10k are flat, paved, and free of traffic.
Half Marathon: Has a 1/4 mile on each of the loops that are a single-track trail.
Start/Finish Location: All events start and finish at One Mile Recreation Area in Lower Bidwell Park.

🏃‍♀️ Shake Out Run Event!

Join us on February 28th at 6:30am at Fleet Feet Chico for an early morning shakeout run with our race sponsor Brooks. We will go for a short 3-6 mile run/walk and enjoy a cup of coffee, fruit and baked goods. Groups will be divided by distance and lead out by race volunteers. Shake out routes will be posted closer to race day.

All shake out participants will get early access to packet pick up! This is a great opportunity to ask questions about the race, get a view of the race start and finish areas as well as get your last run in before race day!

Location: Fleet Feet Chico, 241 Main St., Chico CA
Time: Show up between 6:00-6:30am. Groups will start running at 6:30 sharp.

🏁 Timing

Timing Provider: Timing will be done by Bizz Johnson Racing.
Start Type: All races will be a gun start and a chip finish.
Toe the Line: If you are racing for an overall placement, you must toe the line! (Based on Gun time)
Start Times: Gun start for 5k will be at 8:00am: Gun start for 10k and Half Marathon will be at 8:10am.

🚰 Aid Stations and Restrooms

Half Marathon: 6 aid stations: 3 for the 10k: 2 for the 5k.
Restroom Locations: Located at One Mile recreation, Cedar Grove Park, and Petersen Dr. Park entrance.
Portable Restrooms: Available at the start and finish.

📜 Rules

No Dogs: Please no dogs on the course during the race.
Strollers: Allowed, please be cautious of other runners.
Headphones: Only in one ear please! Must be able to hear your surroundings.
Race Number: Wear your race number so it is visible on the participant's front.

🏆 Awards for Top Finishers

CASH PRIZE: Top male and female for each race! (5k, 10k and Half)
Award Ceremony: 8:45am for the 5k, 9:15am for the 10k, and 10:00am for the Half Marathon.
Age Group Awards: Awarded to the top three in each age group category for each gender in each race.
Unclaimed Prizes: Available for pickup at Fleet Feet Chico on Sunday March 2nd during regular business hours (11:00am-4:00pm).

To the Course: Enter Chico via Highway 99 either from the north or from the south.
Parking: The park itself will be closed to vehicle traffic on race day.
