Fleet Feet Fall Classic - Trail October 19th, 2025

🏃‍♂️ DESCRIPTION

Fleet Feet Chico is pleased to offer two trail races in our beautiful Upper Bidwell Park. The two races will start on the south side of the park down Annies Trail for a fun adventure on the single-track trails. Toss in a creek crossing and a nice finish through Yahi and the golf course, you’re sure to enjoy your run!

• Races Offered: Half Marathon and 4-mile endurance challenge
• Half Marathon Start: 8:10am along the rock wall off Centennial/South Rim trail head
• Challenges: 1600 ft of gain in the first half, party at Aid station #1
• 4-mile Challenge: Run a 4-mile loop for 8 hours, changes direction every other lap

🍕 POST RACE

After the race head up to Bidwell Golf Course Bar and grill for some delicious food and drinks!

• 4-Mile Endurance Run: 8:00am
• Half Marathon: 8:10am

📝 REGISTRATION

Registration for this race is available online.

• Online Registration: Closes October 17th at 9:00am.
• In-Person Registration: October 17th and 18th at Fleet Feet Chico from 10am-2pm.
• Shirt Guarantee: Register by September 29th to guarantee yourself a race shirt.
• Leftover Shirts: Available starting at 10:00am after the race on October 19th.

• June 1st – June 30th:
  • Half Marathon: $80.00
  • 4-Mile Endurance Run: $80.00
• July 1st – September 30th:
  • Half Marathon: $85.00
  • 4-Mile Endurance Run: $85.00
• October 1st – October 17th:
  • Half Marathon: $90.00
  • 4-Mile Endurance Run: $90.00
• In-person Registration: $95.00 on October 17th and 18th

🏃‍♀️ PRE-RACE EVENTS

• Shake Out Run: October 18th at 7:30am, 4-5 mile run at Horseshoe Lake Parking Lot.
• Pre-Race Social: Join Fleet Feet at The Commons, 2412 Park Ave from 5:00pm-7:00pm.

📦 PACKET PICKUP

Packet pickup will be held at Fleet Feet Chico on the following days:

• October 17th and 18th, 10:00am-2:00pm
• Race Day Packet Pickup on October 19th from 7:00-7:45am

🧢 SWEAT CHECK

Sweat check will be available for all runners at this year’s race!

• Check-In Time: 7:30am to 4:15pm on race day.

Both the Half Marathon and the 4-Mile Endurance run will start on the south side of Upper Bidwell Park.

🚗 DIRECTIONS AND PARKING

To the Course: The race is located along Centennial/South Rim rock wall, approximately a quarter mile past the gate at Centennial Ave and Chico Canyon Rd.

• Preferred Parking: 5 Mile Recreation - .5 mile from the start.
• Alternative Parking: Hooker Oak Park, Observatory Parking Lot, and Horseshoe Lake Parking Lot.

🚴‍♂️ BIKE VALET

Bike valet will be available at the race this year! We encourage you to ride your bikes to the race, and Chico Velo will have their bike valet services available.

⚠️ RACE RULES

• Be Courteous: When overtaking slower runners.
• Follow Trail Etiquette: Call out when passing.
• Do Not Remove Course Markings: Follow race flagging.
• Pack Out Trash: Leave no trace.

🍽️ POST RACE REFRESHMENTS

With your race entry, you will receive a meal ticket to enjoy after the run. Extra meal tickets will be available for purchase.

👕 T-SHIRTS AND AWARDS

• Shirt Cutoff: Guaranteed Tee-shirt cutoff is September 29th, 2025.
• Awards: To top male and female finishers and top 3 for each age group.
