Join us, in person, on November 2nd, 2025 for the 51th Annual Almond Bowl in the beautiful Lower Bidwell Park!

• Location: Starting on South Park Drive, finishing near Sycamore Field
• Price Includes: Race shirt, bib, post-race snacks
• Support Local: Funds raised go to local high school cross-country teams and band programs

• 5k: 8:00am
• 10k: 8:10am

📝 Registration Details

• Online Registration: Opens now, closes October 31st at 9:00am
• In-Person Registration: Available during packet pickup only
• Packet Pickup: October 31st and November 1st at Fleet Feet Chico from 10:00am - 2:00pm
• Race Shirt: Guaranteed if registered by October 17th

💲 Race Fee Schedule

• July 1st - Sept 30th: 10k $55, 5k $45
• Oct. 1st - Oct. 31st: 10k $60, 5k $50
• In-Person at Packet Pickup: 10k $60, 5k $50

5K and 10K: Flat, fast loop through beautiful (newly paved!) lower Bidwell Park.

🚘 Directions and Parking

To the course:

• Enter Chico: Via Highway 99 from the north or south
• Northbound: Take Highway 32 offramp and turn right
• Southbound: Take Highway 32 offramp and turn left
• Parking: Find a spot on or near Woodland Ave: no vehicle traffic allowed in the park on race day

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be held at Fleet Feet Chico on:

• Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm

⚖️ Race Rules

• Overtaking: Be courteous to slower runners or walkers
• Visible Race Number: Must be worn on the front
• Timing: Cross the timing mat for your chip to be read
• Pace: Run hard, run fast, and have fun!

🚰 Aid Stations and Restrooms

• Aid Stations: 3 for the 10k, 2 for the 5k
• Water Stations: Cedar Grove Bathrooms, Peterson Drive Gate, 99 Overpass
• Restrooms: Located throughout the course at various parks
• Portable Restrooms: Available at the start and finish

👕 T-Shirts and Awards

• Tee-shirt Cutoff: October 17th, 2025
• Shirts Provided: Cotton Poly blend shirts from Upper Park Clothing
• Awards: Cash prizes for top male and female finishers in each race
• Age Group Awards: Awards presented for top three in each age group category
