Race Description
The Lake of the Ozarks Turkey Trot 5K is a family tradition held on Thanksgiving morning at Camdenton High School. 2026 will be the 17th year for this event. It's attended by many families who want to kick their holiday off with some exercise, friendly competition and camaraderie.
This year we have a one mile fun run for kids and adults who don't want to do the full 5k course.

- Fun Run Start: 7:45 AM
- 5K Start: 8:30 AM
- Registration Opens: 7:00 AM
- Registration Location: Camdenton High School
Packet Pickup Information
- Wednesday Pickup: Evening at TBD location
- Race Morning Pickup: Starts at 7:00 AM
- On-Site Registration: Available during pickup times
Awards
- Fun Run: No awards: all participants receive a finishers item
- Overall Winners: Male & Female receive a plaque and a cash prize
- Division Awards: Given in age groups: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 & 70 and up
- Kids Medals: For boys and girls in age groups: 10 & under, 11-14
Timing Information
Finish times will be based on gun time, not chip time.
