🦃 Race Overview

• Event: Join us on Thanksgiving Day at 8AM for the 12th annual University City Turkey Trot!!
• Participants: A huge thanks to all the participants who have supported this awesome community race through the years!
• Activities: Join fellow runners, walkers, and our fans for a 5k walk/run designed for all of University City to enjoy!
• Post-Race Festivities: After the race, cool down and indulge in a post-race mini feast featuring food, drinks, games and music.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Events: The University City Turkey Trot features a 5k run/walk: a fun run for kids of all ages: and a costume contest for all those young at heart.
• Prizes: Awards for first, second, and third place finishers overall: first and second place male and female in each age category: and three prizes for the costume contest.
• Food Drive: Participants are encouraged to take part in our annual food drive by bringing non-perishable items to support those who are less fortunate in our community.
• Shirts: Our awesome turkey tee shirt is always a hit! Please register early to ensure you get your awesome tee shirt ordered.

🎖️ Registration Information

• Deadline: Register by Friday, November 7, 2025 by noon to avoid disappointment!
• Medals: Every participant is guaranteed a medal.
• Shirts Availability: Any extra shirt inventory will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis upon request after the race.
• Encouragement: Avoid disappointment and register early!

• Beneficiary: Sickle Cell Partners of the Carolinas (SCPOC) is a non‐profit organization that exists to partner with those working to make a difference in the lives of patients and families affected by Sickle Cell Disease.
• Mission: Our mission is to provide support for patients and families, raise awareness, and advocate for a cure.
• Community Role: Established in 2009, we educate the community and raise awareness about Sickle Cell Anemia.
• Support: Your donations to this awesome cause are always welcome and are tax deductible.
