Celebrated as one of the 20 Best Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trots in America, the CPI Security Charlotte Turkey Trot is a Charlotte Thanksgiving tradition for the past 36 years!

Join us on Thanksgiving Day morning and choose from several fun options to participate including:

• 8K Run: A challenging distance for seasoned runners.
• 5K Run/Walk: Perfect for those looking to enjoy the day at a leisurely pace.
• 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk: Great for families and casual participants.
• Tot Trot: A special event for the youngest runners.

Location

Starting and finishing at the SouthPark Mall, the largest road race (11,000+) in North Carolina is a homecoming destination for extended families, old classmates, and a place to meet and celebrate with neighbors. The community comes together for the official Charlotte kick-off to the holiday season!

Tot Trot Information

The Harris Teeter Tot Trot is FREE and convenient, running continuous heats from 8:30-9:30 AM in the Dick's parking lot.

CMPD Explorers HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE: Please bring a toy to any packet pick-up or on race morning – our goal is to collect 1,000's of toys for local kids in need.
