• Mission: Community Matters Cafe serves more than coffee and food... it's a place to restore hope.
• Support: The cafe is an extension program of Charlotte Rescue Mission, providing free residential recovery services to men and women struggling with substance abuse and homelessness.

👩‍🎓 Life Skills Program

• Transition: Graduates of the Charlotte Rescue Mission's recovery program can transition back into the community through the Community Matters Cafe Life Skills Program.
• Topics: This 6-month initiative addresses conflict resolution, expressing concerns, and healthy coping mechanisms, both in a classroom and restaurant setting.
• Support: The program covers all housing and transportation expenses during this time.
