Cupid Shuffle 5k

💖 Event Overview

The Cupid Shuffle 5k run/walk is hosted by Alpha Chi Omega sorority of UNC Charlotte for the promotion of awareness, education, & prevention of relationship violence. Proceeds will go to the Safe Alliance Domestic Violence Shelter of Charlotte, NC, and the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place finishers will be awarded.

💪 Supporting Organizations

All proceeds will be donated to organizations promoting and aiding in the awareness, education, and prevention of domestic violence:

• Safe Alliance: Their mission is to provide hope and healing to those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault.
• Programs: They offer emergency shelter, trauma counseling, and court advocacy/legal representation.
• Annual Reach: Safe Alliance assists more than 10,000 people annually in Mecklenburg County.

🏠 Alpha Chi Omega Foundation

The remaining 15% of the proceeds will be donated to the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation. Their philanthropic mission is helping women who are affected by domestic violence.
