Event Overview

Join the Ponchatoula Jaycees on Sunday, April 12, 2026 for the 43rd Annual Strawberry Strut!

Online Registration

• Deadline: Register online until April 12, 2026.
• Race Day Prices: Will increase to $30 for the 1 mile and $40 for the 5K and 10K.
• Additional Runs: All 5K/10K runners are invited to run the 1 mile at no additional charge.
• Timing: 1 mile run will NOT be chip timed.

Packet Pickup

• Date & Time: Available Friday, April 10 from 4:30pm to 7:00pm.
• Location: Deviate Physiotherapy & Performance at 485 SW Railroad Ave. Suite 101 Ponchatoula, LA.
• Race Day Pickup: Available at the event site from 6:00am - 7:00am for those unavailable on Friday.

T-Shirts

• Specially Designed: T-shirts available to purchase.
• Size Guarantee: Sizes guaranteed if registered by March 20, 2026.
• Availability: Additional t-shirts will be first come, first served on race day.

Awards

• Finishers: Souvenir medals for all registered 1 mile, 5K and 10K finishers.
• Medals: Given to the 1st and 2nd place male and female finishers in each age group.
• Age Groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
• Overall Awards: Complimentary 2027 race entry for the overall 1st and 2nd 5K and 10K finishers.

Post Race

• Refreshments: Fresh fruits, water, and homemade strawberry short cake will be available to all racers.

Parking

• Location: Available at Ponchatoula Junior High.
