Hammond Firefighters 911 Memorial Run

Event Overview

Join us for the 2026 Hammond Firefighters memorial 911 5K & 1-mile fun run. This year's event will be FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY! SO, COME OUT AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL FIRE FIGHTERS OF HAMMOND LOUISIANA!

Proceeds

• Supporting Local Programs: Proceeds of the race stay in the community and help fund local nonprofit programs that our local Fire Fighters care deeply about.
• Community Impact: Our guys are always out there helping and saving lives, so let us get out and support them.

Race Details

• Location: Starts and finishes at Cate Square Park in beautiful Downtown Hammond.
• Course: Flat scenic course starting at Cate Square Park to Southeastern Louisiana University.
• Route: We will run around Southeastern's campus and finish back at Cate Square Park.
• Date: September 19, 2026.

Packet Pickup

Pre-Race packet pick-up will be Thursday, September 18th at Perfectly Fit, from 10am-6pm.

Awards

• Finisher Medals: Finisher medals for all runners.
• Timed Event: This year will be a TIMED EVENT!!
• 5K Awards: TOP 3 OVERALL MALE & FEMALE FINISHERS.
• Age Group Awards: TOP 2 IN EACH AGE GROUP, MALE & FEMALE (13 & Under) (14-19) (20-29) (30-39) (40-49) (50-59) (60+).

1 Mile Awards

1st Place OVERALL MALE & FEMALE FINISHERS.

T-Shirt Information

Entry Fee does not include a T-Shirt. T-Shirts are an optional purchase for this year's run. We've heard you and we agree. Buy the T-shirt if you want one or skip the shirt if your run T collection is too big. Register early if you want a T-shirt. T-shirt order cutoff date is AUGUST 17, 2025.
