• Event Purpose: We’re excited to invite you to be part of a meaningful, energizing, and community-centered event this fall — the Healing in Motion LA: Glow & Grow 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run, happening on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Cate Street Square in Hammond, LA.
• Healing Focus: This race isn’t just about movement — it’s about momentum for healing. In honor of those impacted by domestic violence, we’re blending the power of wellness, community action, and celebration to uplift survivors, raise awareness, and fund local support services.
• Join Us: We anticipate a host of runners, walkers, and families gathering for an unforgettable afternoon of movement and meaning. With our “Glow & Grow” theme, this afternoon event transforms the darkness into a radiant after-race glow party — creating space for healing, empowerment, and transformation through collective energy, movement, and light.
• Event Activities: Enjoy a timed 5K run or a relaxed 1-Mile Fun Walk, followed by an after-party that brings the community together in music, glow, and celebration.

Registration Fees

• Early Bird Registration: $20 – Site Launch to October 15
• General Registration: $35 – October 16 to November 14
• Race Day: $40 – November 15
• Shirt Guarantee: Shirts will not be guaranteed after Nov. 1st registration

Race Day Overview

• Packet Pick Up: Starts at 2PM in Cate Square Park
• Warm Up Program: 2:30PM - WARM UP + PROGRAM
• Race Start: 3PM - RACE START
• Glow Party: After finishing, followed by sunset at 5PM

Packet Pick Up

• Timing: 2PM-2:30PM at Cate Street Square
• Packet Contents: Packet will include race bib, custom Glow & Grow shirt, glow accessories, and local resources.

Age Groups

• Categories: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc. 70+

Awards

• 5K Awards: Top Overall Male & Female & 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Male & Female each age group
• 1 Mile Awards: Top Overall Male & Female for 14 & Under
