Hammond Rotary Shamrock Run 2026

Event Overview

• Event Name: Hammond Rotary's Charity Shamrock Run
• Date: March 21, 2026
• Location: Renaissance Festival grounds, 46468 River Rd, Hammond, LA 70401
• Distance Options: 1-mile, 5K, and 10K

Course Details

• 5K/10K Route: Roads around the festival and a scenic loop around the small lake
• Renaissance Village: Participants will run through the Renaissance Village
• T-Shirts: Optional: add to checkout for a guaranteed size by February 27, 2026
• Late Registration: Sizes not guaranteed after February 27, 2026

Race Schedule

• 1-Mile Fun Run Start Time: 8:00 AM
• 5K and 10K Start Time: 8:30 AM
• Walkers: Welcome for 1-mile and 5K: not allowed in the 10K
• Finisher Medals: Awarded to all 5K and 10K runners

Awards

• Top Runners: Awards for top 3 overall male & female in 5K and 10K
• 1st Place: Male & female in 1-mile run
• Age Groups: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
• Special Award: Best Costume, Biggest Team, and "Beat the Leprechaun" challenge

Fundraising

• Biggest Fundraising Team: Prize for the team that raises the most funds

• Prize Details: Unique prizes available for leading fundraising teams

Packet Pick-Up

• Pick-Up Date: Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Location: Alexis Ducorbier - State Farm Insurance, 304 Old Covington Hwy, Hammond, LA 70403
• Race Morning Pick-Up: Available, but long lines may occur
• Race Day Pick-Up: Starts at 7:00 AM: recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes early

• Location: Parking available on the grounds of the Renaissance Festival
