Hammond Rotary Shamrock Run 2026

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: The Hammond Rotary's Charity Shamrock Run offers runners the chance to participate in the 1-mile and 5K/10K.
• Location: This year's course is set at the Renaissance Festival grounds in Hammond, Louisiana (46468 River Rd, Hammond, LA 70401).
• Course Details: The 5K/10K route will feature roads around the festival, along a small lake, and through the Renaissance Village.
• T-Shirts: T-Shirts are now optional. If you desire one, please add it on at checkout and register by Monday, February 23rd, 2026 to guarantee your size.

⏰ Event Schedule

• 1-Mile Fun Run Start: 8:00 AM
• 5K and 10K Start: 8:30 AM
• Participant Info: Walkers are welcome in the 1 mile and 5K events: however, walkers are not permitted in the 10K due to time constraints.
• Finishers Medals: All 5K and 10K runners will receive finisher medals.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 male & female runners in the 5K and 10K.
• Age Groups: 1st place awards for each age group (Male & Female) including: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. 80+ age group for the 5K only.
• Special Awards: Best Costume and Biggest Team awards.
• Beat the Leprechaun: Challenge in the 10K with prizes from the "Pot Of Gold."

• Biggest Fundraising Team: A prize will be awarded for this: register your team by clicking DONATE then “Become a Fundraiser.”

• Packet Pick-Up: March 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM at Alexis Ducorbier - State Farm Insurance, 304 Old Covington Hwy, Hammond, LA 70403.

📅 Race Day Information

• Race Day Packet Pick-Up: Starts at 7:00 AM. It is suggested to pick up at least 1/2 hour prior to your race time.
• Parking: Available on the grounds of the Renaissance Festival.
• Expect Long Lines: If you can't make it on Thursday, arrive early on race morning to minimize wait times.
• Check Timeline: Make sure you know your event start time and plan accordingly.
