Beau Chene Country Club Turkey Trot Classic 1 Mile Fun Run and 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

We are excited to announce the 7th Annual Beau Chêne Country Club Turkey Trot Classic 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk! Our race will be held on the morning of Wednesday, November 26th and registration fees include a post-race party (located behind the club house next to our beautiful Pavilion) complete with food, drinks, music and entertainment for the entire family. Our food will include an assortment of fresh fruits and Jambalaya.

🥤 Post-Race Celebration

• Drinks: Water, tea and lemonade provided by Beau Chene Country Club, along with adult refreshments from Republic National Distributing Company and Nola Brewery and coffee from Abita Roasting.
• Activities: Kids' activities will be available.
• Food Drive: Partnered with the Northshore Food Bank of Covington for a food drive benefitting local residents. Bring 5 cans of food to enter a raffle.
• Course Details: Our 5K race course winds through the scenic live oak lined streets of the beautiful Beau Chêne subdivision. The 1 mile course includes both street running and cross country running on Beau Chêne Country Club’s Oak Golf Course.

⚖️ Refund Policy

Should weather prevent us from hosting an on-site race, this race will convert to a virtual race. In this instance, no refunds will be given and updated race information will be sent to the registrants. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme weather circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation. With you registering for this event, you agree to these terms. We appreciate your support!

💵 Registration Fees

• 1 Mile Fun Run: $25 through November 9th, $30 through November 25th and $40 on Race Day.
• 5K Run: $35 through November 9th, $40 through November 25th and $50 on Race Day.
• T-Shirts: Guaranteed if registration is completed by October 31st.

📦 Packet Pickup

Early Packet Pickup Available on November 25th b/w 3:00 and 5:00 pm at the Beau Chêne Clubhouse. Race Day Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration b/w 7:30 and 8:30 am.

👶 Age Groups

• 1 Mile Run: 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13.
• 5K Run: 7 and under, 8-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc. and 70+.

🏅 Awards

1 Mile Run = Awards will be given to the Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers male and female (13 and under) and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13 year olds.

5K Run = 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Overall Male and Female and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female age group winners (7 and under, 8-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc. and 70+).

🤝 Community Benefits

The Race Benefits: The Northshore Food Bank of Covington. There will be no refunds if the event is cancelled due to inclement weather.
