Greek Festival Run & Walk

Event Overview

We're back on the bayou for the 36th annual New Orleans Greek Festival Run & Walk! Start your Memorial Day weekend off right by joining us on Saturday morning, May 23th, 2026, at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral for a fun and healthy way to celebrate the rich culture and heritage of Greece.

Race Options

• Distance: Choose from a 5K or a 1-mile course.
• Location: Both starting and finishing at the one and only NOLA Greek Fest.
• Post-Race Perks: Your race bib gets you early access into the festival with two (2) free admissions ($20 value).
• Experience: Enjoy free beer while supplies last, along with delicious Greek food, music, and dancing.

Registration Information

Late registration will be available on Race Day but will close 30 minutes prior to 5K start time. Get details on late registration HERE.

Race Day Schedule

• 7:00 am: Race Day Packet Pickup & Late Registration
• 8:00 am: Late Registration Ends
• 8:00 am: 1-Mile Kids Run/Walk
• 8:30 am: 5K Run/Walk
• 9:30 am: New Orleans Greek Festival Opens!
• 10:00 am: Award Ceremony (subject to change)

Participation Details

The Greek Fest Run & Walk is open to all runners and walkers of all speeds, New Orleans Track Club members and nonmembers alike.
