28th Annual Casey's 5K/Fun Run & KISD Family Health Expo

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Keller Council of PTAs and Keller ISD is gearing up for the 28th Annual Casey’s Kids Fun Run/5K and KISD Family Health Expo, and we need your support. Your contributions, along with those from others in our community, have made it possible for Casey’s Kids to assist students in Keller ISD who have a need.

👕 History of Casey's Kids

Casey’s Kids, inspired by former Keller ISD counselor Janie Casey, has been a cherished program within Keller ISD for many years. Ms. Casey discovered that a student was missing school due to a lack of clothing. This revelation motivated Ms. Casey to create a solution for providing clothing to disadvantaged students.

In 1997, the Keller Council of PTAs took on this vital initiative, and today, its mission is to supply clothing, essentials, backpacks, and school supplies to KISD students to help them make their potential a reality.

📅 Event Details

• Packet Pick Up: Thurs, Feb 27 and Fri, Feb 28, 2025, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM @ Bear Creek Running Co, 121 Rufe Snow Dr, Ste 103
• Event Day Packet Pick Up: opens @ 6:45 AM at Bear Creek Park, 400 Bear Creek Parkway.
• Availability of T-shirts: T-shirts will ONLY be available during Packet Pick Up and Race Day. NO DELIVERIES.
• Late Registrations: Those who register after 2/15/2025 t-shirts will be available 'WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.'
• Parking Notice: Limited parking at the park. Please plan to utilize our free shuttle from Bear Creek Intermediate School, 801 Bear Creek Pkwy.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

*The school with the most registrations for Casey's Kids will have the honor of hosting the Casey's Cup in their school for the 2025-2026 school year.

New This Year: The school who raises the most money for Casey's Kids will receive a special award and recognition.

🎭 Performance Schedule

• Fine Arts Performances: begin @ 9:00 AM.
• 5K Awards Ceremony: will be held @ 10:00 AM.
• Awards Offered: Overall Winner & Masters (40+) Male & Female.
• Age Category Awards: will be given to the top 3 in these age categories: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
