🎉 Welcome to DAY ONE 2026!

We are so excited to celebrate the new year with you! Start your new year strong by running our DAY ONE 5K. This event is open to both runners and walkers of all talents and experience levels! Finishers will receive a 4 INCH CUSTOM EVENT-THEMED MEDAL! Those who place top three in their age group will win an ADDITIONAL MEDAL!

🏃‍♂️ KID'S DASH Opportunity

If your littles are excited to join in the experience, but aren't quite ready to tackle a full 5K, we highly recommend on KID'S DASH! This is a short 100–200-meter sprint prior to the start of the race to give our little ones the opportunity to experience the racing environment without the pressure of a seemingly long, endless course.

• Cost: Dashers run for FREE.
• Extras: Can still purchase a t-shirt and a finisher medal as an add-on.

✨ Introducing the 1 Mile Option

Run Different is adding a brand new 1 MILE OPTION to all of our events for 2026! This is perfect for those who are just dipping their toes into the racing experience as well as friends, families, and social groups that just want to go for a nice stroll.

• Finisher Awards: Miler participants will receive finisher medals and participation shirts.
• Event Type: This will be an untimed event with no age group awards.

• Participation T-shirt: Event-themed for both 5K & 1M T-SHIRT CUTOFF IS 12/18
• Custom Finisher Medal: Awarded to both 5K & 1M.
• Eligibility: For Age Group Awards is (5K ONLY).

🏆 Age Group Awards

Age groups will be awarded 3 deep in the following divisions: M/F 0-4, M/F 5-9, M/F 10-14, M/F 15-19, M/F 20-24, M/F 25-29, M/F 30-34, M/F 35-39, M/F 40-44, M/F 45-49, M/F 50-54, M/F 55-59, M/F 60-64, M/F 65-69, M/F 70-74, M/F 75-79, M/F 80+. Our OVERALL MALE, OVERALL FEMALE, MALE MASTERS (40+), FEMALE MASTERS (40+), MALE GRAND MASTERS (60+), & FEMALE GRAND MASTERS (60+) will not only receive their gold medals but will also win a CUSTOM EVENT-THEMED TROPHY!

🔔 Awards Distribution

AWARDS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED AT THE EVENT. WE WILL NOT SHIP AWARDS. PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK ON YOUR RESULTS PRIOR TO LEAVING THE EVENT.
