Event Schedule

• Check-in: 7:00 AM
• Race Start Times:
  • 8:30 AM: 1 Mile Family Fun Run
  • 9:00 AM: 5K Run
• Awards: 10:00 AM

Parking

• Location: Tommy Standridge Stadium, 1330 W. Valwood Parkway, Carrollton, TX 75006.
• Access: Entry from W. Valwood Parkway with general event parking in the Visitor Side parking lot due to the City of Carrollton Health and Wellness Fair.
• Accessibility: Limited accessibility parking available near the event area for those with mobility needs.

Packet Pick-Up

• Date: Tuesday and Wednesday, March 3 and 4, 2026.
• Location: Marie Huie Special Education Center, 1820 Pearl Street Building C, Carrollton, TX 75006.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Registration received after February 20, 2026 is not guaranteed an event t-shirt.
• Race Day Materials: Available for participants registering during race week.

Awards

• Timing: race|result Bib-Tag timing will be used.
• Results: Will be available online at www.timeandmeasure.com
• Bib Requirement: You must wear your bib to be timed and eligible for awards.
• Award Categories:
  • 1st Overall Male and Female
  • Most Money Raised (over and above registration)
  • Team Spirit Awards - 2 (wear costumes and show your enthusiasm!)
  • Top 3 Male and Female in designated age groups.
• All In for All Stars Award: Recognizes the campus that raises the most funds and shows exceptional support for Kacie’s Run.

Weather Guidelines

• Decision Timeline: Decisions about postponement will be made the day before or on race day by committee members.
• Monitoring: Weather will be monitored by the on-site Athletic Trainer with real-time data accessibility.
• Notification: Changes communicated through PA system and official channels.
• Safety Protocols: Includes strict adherence to Lightning Policy and emergency shelter procedures.

Rain Date & Refund Policy

• Alternate Date: A designated Rain Out Date will be provided if the event is cancelled.
• Registration Transfer: All registrations will automatically transfer to the new date.
• Refunds: No refunds will be provided for the original date if cancelled.

Authority

• Event Authority: Kacie’s Run reserves the right to delay or cancel the event in case of emergency or unsafe conditions.
• Official Rain Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026 has been reserved for weather-related postponements.
