Grab your buns and get ready — it’s time to ketchup with your friends at The Wiener Run! Join us this May for a hilarious, high-energy, springtime celebration of running, picnics, and pups — complete with a free hot dog and beverage at the finish line! 🐶🌸

Community Involvement

• Partnership: We’re proud to partner with a local wiener dog rescue group, donating a portion of proceeds to help fund their rescue operations.
• Donations: We’ll also be collecting dog food, toys, and treats for our four-legged friends — so bring a bag and show some puppy love!

Race Distances

Kids Dash – “The Tiny Wienie Run” (10 & Under)

• Distance: A fun, 20-yard dash for our littlest runners!
• Includes: A race tee, a finisher medal, and an exclusive “Tiny Wienie” pin.
• Timing: Not timed — just pure fun and laughter.

1 Mile – “The Little Wiener Run”

• Perfect For: All ages and experience levels!
• Includes: A race tee, finisher medal, and plenty of cheers.
• Timing: Not chip-timed.

5K (3.11 miles) – “The Short Wiener Run”

• Timing: Chip-timed with awards, music, and post-race celebration!
• Awards: 1st Overall M/F – Bigfoot Trophy
• Special Recognition: 1st Masters (40+) – Special recognition pin
• Age Group: Standard age group awards

10K (6.22 miles) – “The Long Wiener Run”

• Double Distance: Double the distance, double the glory!
• Awards: 1st Overall M/F – Bigfoot Trophy
• Special Recognition: 1st Masters (40+) – Recognition pin
• Age Group: Standard age group awards

• Packet Pickup: 6:30–7:45 AM
• Kids Dash: 7:55 AM (meet at start line)
• Race Start: 8:00 AM – National Anthem & Race Start

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Then Run (5K Distance Only)

• Requirements: Be part of the action and then earn your bun! Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal.
• Schedule: Arrive 1.5 hrs early to help with packet pickup, run the 5K, and help hand out awards post-race.

Full Race Volunteer (Non-Running Role)

• Perks: Volunteers Receive a Bigfoot race shirt, VIP race access, and choice of a FREE future race entry or $20 Amazon gift card.

Important Notes

• Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day.
• Weather Policy: Rain or shine — it’s BBQ season either way!
• Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start.
• Course Surface: Expect a mix of pavement, crushed granite, and grass paths.
