Race Overview

Are you ready to put your running fitness and skills to the test and qualify for the Boston Marathon? Look no further than the Fort Worth Marathon! Our course is certified by the USA Track & Field Association, ensuring that you are running on a legitimate and accurate course. The fast course along the Trinity River, Overton Park, and Colonial area provides a scenic and enjoyable route for all participants.

Refunds, Transfers/Deferrals, and Race Changes

• Refunds: Refunds and Transfers are not available under any circumstances. - No Exceptions.
• Deferrals: Deferral to next year's event (via the option above) through October 15. Otherwise, please consider your registration fee as a donation to the One Step Foundation. Deferrals are subject to an admin fee.
• Race Distance Changes: Changes are subject to an admin fee of $10 (plus the price difference, if any) through September 30 and an admin fee of $15 (plus the price difference, if any) for race distance changes from October 1 through November 6 (by 6:00 PM).
• Race Changes: Changes only (NO REFUNDS/TRANSFERS/DEFERRALS) can also be made at Packet Pickup for a fee of $15 (plus the price difference, if any).

Packet Pickup

You MUST pick up your packet before race day unless you are coming from out of town or registering on race day. YES, you can pick up for family & friends with a copy of their registration confirmation - at minimum, you need to know their bib number, name & age on race day. We have multiple locations throughout Tarrant County available for packet pickup. Note that parking passes are half off (only $5) when purchased at packet pickup.

Race Swag

• Medals: 6-inch Belt Buckle for Marathon/Half/20-Mile finishers. 3-inch Medal for 5K & 10K finishers.
• Personalized Bib: Must register by Sunday, October 14, 2026.
• Custom Race Shirt: NEW for 2026: choice of tank/singlet, long-sleeve, or short-sleeve. Note: size/availability not guaranteed for registrations after Monday, October 15, 2026 and those picking up on race day. Different shirts for Saturday and Sunday races!

The Fort Worth Marathon & Half Marathon courses are US Track & Field Certified and the Marathon is a Boston Qualifier.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Overall Male & Female.
• Master Awards: Overall Master Male and Female.
• Age Groups: Male & Female Runner Age Groups: 12 & Under: 13-15: 16-18: 19-24: 25-29: 30-34: 35-39: 40-44: 45-49: 50-54: 55-59: 60-64: 65-69: 70-74: 75-79: 80 & Over.
• Age Group Awards: Awards are awarded three deep in each age group for the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, 20 Mile Race, Full Marathon.

Results will be posted live at www.coxracingservices.com. All award winners can pick up their awards at the event site during the event or at Luke's Locker in Fort Worth the following week starting Tuesday, November 10th. Awards will not be mailed after the event. Therefore, award winners must pick up their award at race site or by November 30th at Luke's Locker.

All finishers in the Full Marathon & Relay, 20 Mile Race, Half Marathon, & 5K/10K will receive finisher medals.

Results will be chip-timed by COX RACING SERVICES.
