• Event: 10th Annual 5K Light Trail Run

🎓 Purpose of the Race

• Beneficiary: Highlands County scholarships for graduating seniors
• Race Type: 5K race/walk
• Safety: The 5K will take place on a road that is fenced away from all livestock
• Awards: Race winners in each age category will receive medals

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Participation

• Accessibility: Families and children can participate at their own pace once the racers have cleared the starting line
• Discount: Anyone under 18 years old will receive a discounted registration price of $20
• Encouragement: Promoting youth and family participation is a priority

📝 Registration Details

• Online Registration: Available until February 14: after this date, no option to choose shirt size
• Shirt Availability: Not guaranteed a shirt for registrations after February 14: a few extra shirts will be available at the event
• On-Site Registration: Available for $40 starting at 6:30 a.m. on race day
• Payment Methods: Cash or check only for on-site registration
