• Race Start: Beginning and finishing at Spirits
• Course: Through the Beautiful Historic Garden District
• Finishing Party: Enjoy food, drinks, and fellowship with friends
• Packet Pickup: At Run Wild on Friday from 12 Noon until 6pm and at Spirits on Saturday from 12 noon until 1:45

📏 Race Schedule

• 1 Mile: Starts at 2:00 PM
• 5K: Starts at 2:15 PM
• Beer Mile: Follows at 3:00 PM
• Discount: Sign up for both races for a reduced rate

🍻 What is a Beer Mile?

• Concept: Drink a beer every quarter mile for 1 mile
• Challenge: The race starts at Spirits and ends after four beers with a sprint to the finish
• Participation: Can sign up for both the 5K and Beer Mile
• Fun: A unique and thrilling experience for all participants

📏 Beer Mile Rules

• Beers: Each competitor drinks four beers and runs four quarter laps
• Transition Area: Beer must be consumed before each lap begins, within a 10 meter zone
• Distance: Race begins with the first beer in the last meter of the transition zone
• Women's Rules: Women also drink four beers in four laps, matching the men's requirements
• Beer Requirement: Minimum of 5% alcohol: provided by Huckleberry Brewery
• Opening Beers: Each beer can must remain sealed until entering the transition zone
• Penalty Lap: Competitors who vomit must complete a penalty lap after finishing regardless of how many times they vomit
