The Greenwood Chamber of Commerce 13th Annual Run Your Ice Off | 5K & 8K Races

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event: Join us for the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce's 13th Annual "Run Your Ice Off" 5K and 8K Races presented by Self Regional Healthcare.
• Goal: Get fit for the New Year by taking the "Run Your Ice Off" Challenge!
• Participation: This winter race attracts over 150 athletes from Greenwood and the Upstate.
• Exposure: Offers local and regional athletes awareness of Greenwood Chamber members’ products and services.

📅 Event Details

• When: Saturday, February 8, 2025 - Rain or Shine!
• Events: 5k and 8k Races
• Start Time: 8:30 a.m.
• Check In: 7:30 a.m. | Uptown Greenwood Fountain - 414 Main Street, Greenwood, SC (No early packet pick-up available)

💰 Entry Fees

• Early Bird: $30.00 BEFORE January 17th
• Regular Price: $35.00 AFTER January 17th
• Shirt Guarantee: Performance shirts are guaranteed for entries received by January 17th.
• No Refunds: There will be no refunds.

Awards

• Ceremony Time: Awards presentation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
• Categories: Overall top male and female, and overall male and female in each age group:
• Age Groups: 9 & Under, 10 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70 - 79, 80+
• Cash Prizes: $100 for Top Male and Female in both 5K and 8K categories.

☔ Weather/Cancellation Policy

• Conditions: Races are held, rain or shine, unless deemed too dangerous by the Greenwood Chamber.
• Decision: Conditions will be evaluated on race weekend or race day.
• No Refunds: If canceled due to inclement weather, no refunds will be given.
• Note: Runners can only win one prize.
