Run High Bridge 5k

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

• Event: The Cumberland Education Foundation is proud to present the annual Run High Bridge 5k.
• Location: The event will start at the Camp Paradise entrance of the High Bridge Trail State Park.
• Route: The race offers an out and back run across the legendary High Bridge.
• Purpose: Proceeds will go to Scholarships for Cumberland County School graduates and grants to teachers.

📝 Registration Details

• Pricing: $25 THROUGH February 19th: $30 (February 20th - March 12th): $35 Packet Pickup (Mar. 13th) & Race Day (Mar. 14th).
• Family & Friends Special Pricing: Register 4 or more together to save $2.00 per entry: available only at the time of registration.
• Race Day Registration: Registration remains open on race day at Camp Paradise Road/Aspen Hill Road (Rt. 601), Rice, VA 23966.
• Note: There is no paper registration for this event.

T-Shirt 👕 Information

• Guarantee: Participants registered through Feb. 23rd are guaranteed a t-shirt.
• Extras: Additional t-shirts will be available on a "first-come" basis at packet pickup.
• Deadline: Register before the "Guaranteed Deadline" of Feb. 23rd if a t-shirt is important to you.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date & Time: Friday, March 7th from 3:00 - 6:45pm at the Southside Virginia Family YMCA, 580 Commerce Road, Farmville, VA 23901.
• Race Day: Saturday, March 8th from 8:00am - 8:30am at High Bridge Station, 1466 Camp Paradise Road, Rice, VA 23966.

🚗 Start/Finish Location & Parking

• Location: Aspen Hill Road (Rt. 601), Rice, VA 23966.
• Parking Fee: $5.00 PARKING AT RACE SITE.
• Restrictions: Due to the width of the path across the bridge, we cannot accommodate strollers and/or pets.

🥇 Awards & Timing

• Awards: Top three overall male and female finishers, top Masters (40+ years) male & female.
• Categories: Top 3 male & female finishers in categories: 12 & under, 13 – 19, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 - 59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
• Timing: Timing and scoring of the Run High Bridge 5k will be provided by Riverside Runners.
