🎖️ Purpose of the Event

• Memory: Focused on keeping the memory of our Fallen Soldiers & Veterans alive.
• Freedom: A reminder that Freedom is never free.
• Themes: This year’s theme is the Afghanistan War, which lasted from 2001 to 2021.
• Education: Aiming to educate the community about the history and sacrifice of those who served.

🤝 Proceeds and Beneficiaries

• Organizations: Proceeds will benefit the Taylor Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 4422 and Running To Honor.
• Support: Your participation helps support our honored veterans and their families.

👶 Family Participation

• Kid-Friendly: Special discounted registration for kids 14 and under.
• Distance Options: A .5K (Point 5K) event that is roughly .31 miles.
• Encouragement: Encouraging families to come out and support the cause.

• Atmosphere: If you can’t walk (or run), you’re still welcome to enjoy the event atmosphere.
