📍 Course Overview
- Starting Point: Starting at Memorial Stadium.
- Scenic Route: The course takes you to the Lake Wichita Park paved trail system and guides you along the banks of Lake Wichita with great views of our beautiful park.
- Trail Details: This is an out and back course with a detour on the way back which takes you down Chat trail.
- Chat Trail: Chat trail is 1.5 miles of gravel trail with stunning views.
🏡 5k Race Specifics
- Start Time: The 5k route starts at the same time.
- Course Features: Winds through the beautiful neighborhood behind the stadium.
- Course Type: A very flat course.
- Perfect for: A perfect course for your first 5k.
❤️ Proceeds and Fundraising
- Beneficiary: Proceeds go to OHANA SAFETY FUND, a nonprofit fund to expand learning of road safety to all!
- Partnership: Working closely with TXDOT this fund will help with education of road safety for runners, cyclists, and all who share the road.
- Honoring Lives: This fund is in honor of those who have lost their lives doing what they love in the local North Texas area.
