10th Annual Run for Rowan 5K

• Status: 5K registration is now full and has officially closed.
• Day-of Registration: Please note that day-of registration will NOT be available.

🎉 Event Details

• Date: Join us on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
• Location: Rowan University’s Glassboro campus or participate virtually by running 3.1 miles from any location April 26–May 2.
• Registration Deadline: Don’t wait—registration closes on April 10!
• Beneficiary: This year’s event proudly benefits Flying First, Rowan University’s First-Generation Task Force initiative.

👕 Race Perks

• Shirts: Runners will receive a limited-edition 10th Annual Run for Rowan 5K t-shirt.
• Medal: All participants will receive a commemorative full-color medal.
• Celebration: We’re excited to celebrate this special anniversary with you.
• Community Spirit: Profs, let’s hit the ground running!

⏰ Race Information

• Start Time: The first wave of runners begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by the second wave at 10:05 a.m.
• Check-in: All in-person runners must check in between 8:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. to receive their assigned start time.

🔄 Wave Assignments

• Purpose: The two-wave system allows us to accommodate more participants on race day.
• Assignment: Wave assignments will be given during check-in at the Welcome Tent.
• Groups: Groups who want to run together are encouraged to check in at the same time.
• Details: Competitive runners will be assigned to the first wave, while walkers and those running with strollers will be placed in the second wave.

💵 Cost of Participation

• Early Bird Pricing: Ages 0-17: $20: Ages 18+: $35: Currently-Enrolled Rowan Student: $25 (ends February 15).
• Standard Pricing: Ages 0-17: $25: Ages 18+: $40: Currently-Enrolled Rowan Student: $30 (after February 15).
• Shipping: Pricing now includes the cost to ship your race packet.
• Note: In-person and virtual option pricing is the same.

📦 Race Packet

• Shipping: Race packets will now be shipped directly to participants, with shipping costs covered by your registration.
• No Pickup: Packet pickup at the office or on race day will no longer be available.
• Efficiency: This change supports the event's growth and ensures a smoother, more efficient process for everyone.
