The Wisdom Warrior Challenge (WWC) is a unique track event for senior living communities! What started as 19 seniors training together for a local 5K now involves more than 1,000+ participants in a national competition! And it’s absolutely FREE to every participant thanks to our generous sponsors!
Participating senior communities are given all the tools required to host a WWC track event for their residents that will earn them points in both a local and national competition!
Qualifying is easy:
- Minimum Age: Participants must be 50 years of age or older.
- Adherence: Able to repeat the statement: “Age is just a number, and I am so much more than a number!”
The competition is broken down into several different distances and various age categories – including a wheelchair division!
- Swag Bags: Participants receive stocked up swag bags.
- T-Shirts: All participants receive t-shirts.
- Medals: Winners and participants awarded medals.
The WWC is a fantastic opportunity to engage senior community residents in health and wellness programs:
- Engagement: Involve the local community through sponsorships.
- Awards: Celebrate with awards ceremonies.
- Vendor Expos: Feature local vendors at the event.
