Belleville Main Street Marathon & Half Marathon

Race Overview

Get ready to make history with us on Saturday, September 26, 2026, as we commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Belleville Main Street Marathon and our Half Marathon being designated as the Road Runners Club of America Illinois State Championship Event!!! This year promises to be our biggest and most exciting event yet, and we want you there to help celebrate as you experience the excitement of running America's longest Main Street in the historic town of Belleville, IL, in the heart of America and just a short drive from downtown St. Louis, MO!

Special Features

• Swag: The first 900 registrants will receive a pair of goodr sunglasses at packet pickup as part of their registration.
• Challenge: Encourage you to rise to the challenge of 26 (point 2) miles on the 26th, in '26 to receive even more swag!
• Support: Enthusiastic volunteers on every corner will provide incredible support and cheers with the charm of a Midwest town.
• Courses: Both the full and half marathon courses are ideal for runners of all experience levels and include Main Street and other city roads.

Post-Race Celebrations

• Food: Enjoy Belleville's Bennie's Pizza Pub pizza after the race.
• Drink: A special beer brewed just for you by Belleville's Shoehorn Brewing (for those ages 21 and older).
• Entertainment: A DJ will provide a festive atmosphere.
• Community Impact: Proceeds are reinvested back into our community.

Community Support

The Belleville Main Street Marathon and Half Marathon is a non-profit event, with proceeds reinvested back into our community (community food pantry, Belleville Parks and Recreation Department, and a college scholarship fund for Belleville high school students), with $20,000 being donated from 2025 race proceeds. We are a grass-roots event organized by dedicated volunteers from the Belleville Running Club and Toolen's Running Start.

• Aug 1-Sep 19: $120
• Sep 20-Sep 26: $130

*Must be at least 18 years old to participate in the full marathon.

HALF MARATHON

• Jan 10-Jan 16: $45
• Jan 17-Jan 31: $55
• Feb 1-Mar 31: $70
• Apr 1-May 31: $80
• Jun 1-July 31: $95
• Aug 1-Sep 19: $110
• Sep 20-Sep 26: $120

Must be at least 13 years old to participate in the half marathon. A parent or legal guardian must register participants younger than 18 years of age and agree to the event waiver.

To be guaranteed an event shirt size, registration must be completed by September 13.

Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
