Come join our 3rd Annual It's A Mardi- 5K race as we run through The EPIC and enjoy running/walking around the beautiful Epic Pond. Can't run with us? Run it virtually.

• Location: The EPIC, 2960 Epic Place Grand Prairie TX, 75052
• Race Day: Saturday, March 1st, 2025
• Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup is on race day ONLY!
• T-Shirt Cutoff: T-shirt cutoff is February 21st.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• 6:30 am - 7:30 am: Packet Pickup
• 7:40 am: National Anthem
• 8am: 5K Start
• 9am: Awards
• 9:15 am: Course closes

🤝 Volunteer Opportunities

• Packet Pickup: Help distribute packets on race day.
• Aid Station: Provide water to participants and keep the course clean.
• Course Monitor: Maintain a safe course by directing traffic and guiding participants.

👗 Costume Award

Feel free to bring pom pom, horns, music, instruments, signs etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Bonus for creative costumes!

👥 Biggest Group Award

10 or more to a group to receive the biggest group award!

🏅 Award Categories

Awards will be given for Male and Female Overall and Top 3 Male and Female for the following age groups: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79.

❗ Packet Pickup Details

Anyone can pick up your packet. Maximum 6 packets per pick up. Preregister on your personal device before arriving at Packet Pickup. Changing distances is not offered at Race Day Packet Pickup. Registration closes at 7:00 am - no exceptions.

🌧️ Refund/Cancellation Policy

Cancelation Policy: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy. In the event of extreme weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to half an hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect participants. If conditions turn into lightning, ice, or become unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
