St. Patrick's Day 5k

Event Overview

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day right in the heart of Hampshire at the 12th Annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K! This race begins and ends on State Street with the best post race party around at the Copper Barrel!

Race Details

• Start Time: 9:00am
• Location: State St. right by the Copper Barrel (172 S State St.)
• Bib and Ticket: Runners will receive a bib number and a ticket for a festive green beer or lemonade and refreshments after the finish line.
• Swag Pack: Add your race Swag Pack for only $10.

Post-Race Festivities

• Award Ceremony: The post race party will include an award ceremony for those placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their age groups.
• Best Dressed Contest: Come in your best St. Patrick's Day gear for a chance to win prizes!
• Race Results: Online race results will be posted at J3 Timing.
• Finish Requirement: Participants must finish in 1hr 15min.

Swag and Registration Information

Race Swag items will become limited after 2/23/26. Race items can be picked up at the Hampshire Park District Office, 182 S. State Street, Hampshire beginning March 11th during office hours or on race day starting at 8:15am at the Copper Barrel.

Registration Prices

• Early Bird Price (until 2/1/2026): Fee: $35 includes race bib, drink ticket: $25 for children 12 and under: Swag Pack: Add on for only $10.
• Regular Price (2/2/2026 - 2/27/2026): Fee: $40 includes bib number, drink ticket: $25 for children 12 and under: Swag Pack: Add on for only $10.
• Last Call Price (2/28/2026 - 3/13/2026 at 3:00pm): Fee: $45 includes bib number, drink ticket: $25 for children 12 and under: Swag Pack: Add on for only $10 while supplies last.
• Day of Registration: $48, Swag Packs available for $10 (limited sizes).

Important Dates

• Online Registration Closes: 3/13/26 at 3:00pm.
• In-Person Registration: Opens on race day from 8:15am to 8:45am at Copper Barrel.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 participants, male and female, in each age group:

• Age Groups: 7 and under, 8-12, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Please stay for the awards ceremony to receive your medal. We will not be mailing them, but they will be available for pick up at the Park District Office the following week.
