St. Patrick's Day 5k

Event Overview

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day right in the heart of Hampshire at the 12th Annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K! This race begins and ends on State Street with the best post-race party around at the Copper Barrel!

Race Details

• Start Time: The race starts on State St. right by the Copper Barrel (172 S State St.) at 9:00am.
• Post-Race Festivities: Runners will receive a bib number and a ticket for a festive green beer or lemonade and refreshments after you make it through the finish line!
• Swag Pack: Add your race Swag Pack for only $10!! You won't want to miss out on this year’s custom race swag!
• Awards Ceremony: The post-race party award ceremony will include the best dressed contest! Make sure to come in your best St. Patrick's Day gear for your chance to win prizes!

Timing and Results

• Race Timing: This race is timed with an award ceremony for those who place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in their age groups during the post-race party once results can be obtained.
• Results Posting: Online race results will be posted at this link.
• Time Limit: Participants must finish in 1hr 15min.
• Swag Item Availability: Race Swag items will become limited after 2/23/26.

Pricing Structure

• Early Bird Price: Until 2/1/2026 - Fee: $35 includes race bib, drink ticket. Swag Pack: Add-on for only $10 includes custom race swag.
• Regular Price: 2/2/2026 - 2/27/2026 - Fee: $40 includes bib number, drink ticket. Swag Pack: Add-on for only $10 includes custom race swag.
• Last Call Price: 2/28/2026 - 3/13/2026 at 3:00pm - Fee: $45 includes bib number, drink ticket. Swag Pack: Add-on for only $10 includes custom race swag while supplies last.
• Race Day Registration: Registration will open back up for in-person only on race day from 8:15am to 8:45am at Copper Barrel. No registrations will be accepted after 8:45am that day. Registration price on race day will be $47.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 participants, male and female, in each age group.

Age Groups

Age Groups: 7 and under, 8-12, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

Medal Pickup

Please stay for the awards ceremony to get your medal. We will not be mailing them but they will be available the next week for pickup at the Park District Office.
