St. Patrick's Day 5k

Event Overview

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day right in the heart of Hampshire at the 12th Annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K! This race begins and ends on State Street with the best post race party around at the Copper Barrel!

Race Details

• Start Time: 9:00am
• Location: Starts on State St. right by the Copper Barrel (172 S State St.)
• Post-Race Party: Enjoy a festive green beer or lemonade and refreshments after crossing the finish line!
• Swag Pack: Add your race Swag Pack for only $10!

Awards and Ceremony

The post race party award ceremony will include the best dressed contest! Make sure to come in your best St. Patrick's Day gear for your chance to win prizes!

• Timed Race: This race is timed with awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in age groups.
• Results: Online race results will be posted at J3 Timing.
• Finish Requirement: Participants must finish in 1hr 15min.
• Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 participants, male and female, in each age group.

Registration Information

• Early Bird Price: Until 2/1/2026 - Fee: $35 includes race bib, drink ticket: $25 for children 12 and under.
• Regular Price: 2/2/2026 - 2/27/2026 - Fee: $40 includes bib number, drink ticket: $25 for children 12 and under.
• Last Call Price: 2/28/2026 - 3/13/2026 at 3:00pm - Fee: $45 includes bib number, drink ticket: $25 for children 12 and under.
• Sign-Up Fees: *Plus sign up fees. Online registration closes 3/13/26 at 3:00pm.

Race Day Registration

Registration will open back up for in-person only on race day from 8:15am to 8:45am at Copper Barrel. No registrations will be accepted after 8:45am that day. The registration price on race day will be $48. Swag Packs are $10 but sizes will be very limited if not sold out.

Medal Distribution

Please stay for the awards ceremony to get your medal. We will not be mailing them but they will be available the next week for pick up at the Park District Office.
