Find Their Footing 5K/Walk - Dashing Through The Decades

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

Our 9th Annual Find Their Footing 5K- Dashing Through the Decades will be held on April 26, 2025, at Rose Tree Park in Media, PA. Through this event, AFTH will raise money for our Expecting & Birth Parent Support Fund. This fund supports birth parents in need, many find themselves in need of additional financial support to help with housing, food, and transportation to regain their footing.

• Early Bird Pricing: $35 (now until April 4th)
• Regular Pricing: $40 (Regular price & Day of)

🎁 What You Receive

We invite runners to dress up in your best 80s, 90s, or 2000s outfits for our event but do not require. Best spirited runner/walker will receive a prize!

• Raffle Ticket: (1) Free Raffle ticket to enter our raffles

🎉 Festival Activities

While running/walking through the course, there will be themed stations of different decades at each mile of the race. There will be an after-race festival to commemorate Adoptions From The Heart’s 40th year anniversary. We will have music, free water and refreshments for runners, speakers to commemorate our 40th year anniversary, raffles, and an award ceremony for 1st place finishers in each group. We will also have food trucks, vendors, music, kids activities, raffles, and more at the festival.

👶 Kids Dash

The kids dash is FREE for kids under the age of 10 years old and will start before the main race at 9:15am. There will be 2 kids dashes for the age groups, 5 & under, and 6-10 years old. Please register so that we can account for our kids dash participants. If you would like to order a kids shirt please click the add on.

Adoptions From The Heart is a non-profit adoption agency located in 6 states along the East Coast. AFTH has been providing children with safe and loving homes since 1985 while also offering comprehensive, high-quality services to adoptive families, birth parents, and adoptees. With our Find Their Footing 5k event we are raising money for our Expecting and Birth Parent Support Fund.

There will also be a fundraising opportunity for those who would like to contribute to our fundraising goals. Those who raise targeted donations will receive prizes. First place fundraiser will receive a special grand prize.
