Lace up your running shoes and join us at the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport for the Run the Runway 5K + Kids Fun Run on September 14, 2025!

👦 Race Details

• Kids Fun Run: A 1K Fun Run for children ages 3-12 begins at 2pm.
• 5K Start Time: The 5K on the taxiway and runway begins at 2:30pm.
• Course Info: This professionally chip-timed event offers a unique racing opportunity on a real airport runway.
• Accessibility: The flat, completely paved course is stroller and wheelchair friendly.

✈️ Important Notes

• Pets: Please leave pets at home: animals will not be allowed to participate.
• All Fitness Levels: The event is perfect for runners, walkers, and families at all fitness levels.

🎉 Beneficiary

All proceeds will benefit the Explore More Discovery Museum's aviation exhibit where children learn about the many aspects of aviation including hands-on experience as a pilot, aircraft mechanic, air traffic controller, and passenger.
