🏃‍♂️ Crozet Trails Crew 5K/10K Trail Run + Family Fun Run

This is the major fundraiser for the Crozet Trails Crew, a grassroots community organization whose mission is to simply connect Crozet and Western Albemarle with trails and greenways.

🌲 The Course

• Start Location: Crozet Park (on festival grounds by pavilions this year).
• Trail Type: Rustic trail with plenty of roots, rocks, and ruts.
• Finishing Point: Returns to Crozet Park.
• T-Shirts: All runners receive a race T-shirt. Course map is posted on crozettrailscrew.org.

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Fun Run

• Course Start: Begins in Crozet Park and goes by the dog park.
• Trail Extension: Turns left on a recent extension of trail (~.75-mile) back to the park.
• Connection: This section will eventually link the trail to downtown Crozet.
• Registration: Kids under 7 years old can participate for free if accompanied by a registered participant.

🏞️ 10K Trail Race

• Loop Route: This limited race will loop by Lickinghole basin.
• Creak Crossing: Expect to cross Lickinghole creek (you might get your feet wet).
• Bridge Fund: Currently fundraising for a 50-foot bridge to connect the trails.
• Donation: If you can, please donate to help with the bridge.

🎉 Post Race Trails Fest

Join us for a post-race festivities at the finish with a delicious pancake breakfast made from scratch!

• Live Music: Enjoy performances from Susie and the Pistols on the new stage!
• Beverage: Starr Hill beer will be available.
• Proceeds: All proceeds will go to Crozet Trails Crew.
• Time: Event runs from 11am to 1pm.

🕘 Registration Details

• In-Person Registration: Takes place at Claudius Crozet Park on Saturday, October 25th, starting at 9:00am.
• Packet Pick-up: Race day signup is at Crozet Park Pavilion from 9am - 9:45am.
• Early Pick-up: Available on Thursday, October 23rd at Starr Hill from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
• Switching Races: If you want to switch races, please come to Thursday packet pickup to let us know.
