VICTORY RACES - Marathon, Half, and 5K

Event Overview

The Vermillion Trails Alliance is excited to host the fourth annual Victory Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k! Come run at a one of a kind USATF certified Boston Qualifier course that was a once-secret military compound, and support the VTA in its mission to grow and connect the people of Vermillion County by expanding our network of trail and recreation opportunities!

The Location

Vermillion Rise Mega Park. The races take place on the grounds of a once-secret military munitions compound which supplied our military with explosives to help the U.S. win peace for the world during WWII. Our venue was then used to store many other military weapons throughout the mid 1900’s through the very early 2000’s. Now the Vermillion Rise Mega Park has been repurposed for local industry and retains many remnants and evidence of military ruins and manufacturing facilities.
