Indiana Fall Classic
The Indiana Fall Classic covers 10K (6.2 miles) through the trails and roads of Hawthorn Park, a beautiful setting for a fall run. There is also a 1-mile fun run/walk for youth and adults. You can view the course map here.

Race Day Schedule
- 8-9:20 a.m.: Race day packet pick up/Race day registration
- 9:30 a.m.: 1 Mile Run/Walk starts
- 10:10 a.m.: 10K starts
Registration
Online registration through November 8th at 11:59P to guarantee shirt. There will be race day registration available, but with no guarantee of a shirt.
Awards
- Awards given: Overall awards, age group awards, and walker awards.
- Age groups: Based on 5-year age groups.
- Walker policy: IF YOU ARE SIGNED UP AS A WALKER, PLEASE DO NOT RUN! We have competitive walkers who work hard and it wouldn’t be fair for someone to run part of the race and beat out a competitive walker who walked the complete event.
- Finisher medals: The 1 Mile runners and walkers will receive a finisher medal.
Race Day Food
After you have completed your race enjoy some chili at Dogwood Shelter! Vegetarian chili will be available.
Parking
- Limited parking: There is a limited amount of parking inside Hawthorn Park. Enter the park, turn left and utilize the first parking lot just north of the Dogwood Shelter (you cannot utilize the parking lot at Dogwood as this is where the finish line is set up).
- Additional parking: There is additional parking on the west side of the park entrance, but please note this is part of the 10K course and there will be runners and walkers utilizing this stretch until after 11AM.
- Grass parking: The majority of the parking is located ACROSS the road from the park entrance. This is grass parking.
