Halfway To The Holidays Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, 1/4 Marathon, 5k & Kids Run

Event Overview

Join USA Race Timing & Event Management for a festive celebration at the Halfway to the Holidays Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, 1/4 Marathon, 5k, and Kids Fun Run! Embrace the holiday spirit early with jolly decorations, cheerful music, and fun-themed surprises while racing along scenic courses. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just enjoying the festive vibes, this event promises holiday cheer and fitness fun for all ages. Don your best holiday attire, and don’t miss the chance to celebrate halfway to the most wonderful time of the year! Whether you are celebrating Christmas in July, Hanukkah in July, Kwanzaa in July or halfway to any other holiday come out and join us!

Participant Perks

• Hat Options: Participants will receive their choice and color of a santa hat or elf hat (approximately 15 hat options to choose from during packet pickup).
• Tutu Choice: Choose from 9 different colors of tutus.
• Race Shirt: A custom race shirt will be provided.
• Finish Line Treats: Participants will enjoy ice cream or popsicle at the finish line.

Race Start Times

• Marathon: 6:30am
• Half Marathon: 7:30am
• Kids Fun Run: 8:15am
• Quarter Marathon & 5k: 8:30am

If it is going to be really hot and humid, we can start small groups of runners in the half and quarter marathons early... if you are nice to Samta!!!

Timing and Course Closure

Timing will end and the course will close at 12:00pm (5.5 hours for the marathon, 4.5 hours for the half marathon and 3.5 hours for all other races).

Parking Information

• Availability: Parking is available at the event location and if that parking lot fills up, there are two adjacent parking lots.
• Lot Locations:
  • First lot between the Johnstown Mill and TAC off of Track St (short walk to the start/finish line).
  • Second lot in the gravel at the Johnstown Dog Park next to the shelter house (100 E Douglas St, Johnstown, OH 43031).
• Street Parking: There is also street parking available all around the park, but be sure to check signs to ensure you are legally parked.
• Parking Restrictions: Please do not park in the grass: only in gravel/paved areas.
