21st Race into the New Year 5k & 1/4 Mile Fun Dash

Race Overview

Join the Seashore Striders to close out the year with a 5k out and back course beginning on the boardwalk and running north to the turn-around at Gordon's Pond, Cape Henlopen State Park.

• Race Time: Kids Dash @ 11:50 AM and 5k @ noon.

Packet Pickup

• Date: Monday, December 30th, from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
• Location: Bandstand at Rehoboth Avenue &: the Boards.
• Reminder: Please do not show up after 11:30 AM on race morning.
• Policy: Friends &: relatives can pick up for others.

Race Registration

• Early Registration: $25.00 through December 1st at 6:00 PM.
• Pre-Registration: $30.00 through December 30th at 10:00 PM.
• Late Registration: $35.00 on race day from 10:30 - 11:50 AM.
• Kid's Race: Free for ages 9 &: under (no registration required).

Seashore Strider Course Guidelines

• Course Etiquette: All participants must run the marked course.
• Safety: Do not run on the sidewalk or private properties.
• Disqualification: Non-compliance with race instructions may lead to disqualification.
• Policy: Biking/pacing, bandits, and full headphones are not allowed.

Awards and Amenities

• Awards: Overall Male &: Female, Master Male &: Female, and top 3 in age groups.
• Amenities: Long Sleeve 100% Pre-Shrunk Cotton Race shirts guaranteed to all pre-registered participants by 12/23/25.
• Refreshments: Provided by Giant and bagels when available from Surf Bagel.
• Parking: Free parking on Rehoboth Avenue: meters are not in effect.

Refunds and Deferrals

• No Refund Policy: The Seashore Striders have a strict no refund policy.
• Options: Transfer to future events, donate your entry fee, or defer to the following year.
