DESCRIPTION

Join the Seashore Striders in Rehoboth Beach for the 12th annual Rehoboth Fire Company Fire Fightin' 5k. The Fire Fightin' 5k is a flat & fast course through the Town of Rehoboth Beach. The race will start and finish at the Station with a beautiful course through Rehoboth Beach taking in the boardwalk & the Ocean.

RACE DAY TIME SCHEDULE

• 6:30 am: Race-Day Registration & Race Day Packet Pickup
• 7:45 am: Lineup of Kids Dash & Star Spangled Banner
• 8:00 am: Race Start
• 9:15 am: Approx Time of Awards Ceremony

RACE REGISTRATION

• $30.00: "PRE" Race Registration through Sunday, August 16th at midnight
• $35.00: "RACE WEEK" Race Registration from Monday, August 17th through Saturday, August 22nd at midnight
• $40.00: "RACE DAY" Race Registration from 6:30 am - 7:50 am on site Sunday, August 23rd
• T-Shirt: Registrations processed by Monday the 17th are guaranteed a t-shirt and those after the 17th are "first come".

• ONLINE REGISTRATION: through RUNSIGNUP here at this site. "The easiest & most popular way to register for Seashore Strider events."
• MAIL-IN REGISTRATION: form can be downloaded from seashorestriders.com on the Firefightin' 5k race page. Please fill out the form completely & neatly, double checking Age, Gender, Entry Fee Price (some events have different fees) & Event Choice. Mail completed paper registration to: Seashore Striders: Tim Bamforth: 9 Gander Lane, Lewes, DE. 19958. Please have entry arrive by mail by Monday of Race Week to have a better chance in event t-shirt/swag.

RACE TIMING

Timing will be done by the Seashore Strider Event Production team and will be using the Chronotrack B Chip system.

RACE AMENITIES

Finish line produced by “Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.”, Post-Race awards ceremony within 20 minutes following the final finisher, custom t-shirts, custom awards, live music, kid's dash, games, door prizes, post-race refreshments at the station.

AWARDS

Awards will be presented to the Overall Male & Female Champions, Overall Male & Female Masters (40+ yrs.), as well as the top three (3) Male & Female finishers in the following age categories: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-24, then 5-year age groups through 80+. Awards will be presented within 20 minutes following the final runner crossing the finish.

REFUNDS/DEFERRAL

The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy, however we make every possible attempt to please our client with the following options:

• Transfer to a future Seashore Strider owned event of equal value before the end of the current year.
• Donate your entry fee to the charity associated with the event or to the Seashore Strider Youth Running program.
• Transfer/Defer to the following year at the same event.
