13th Annual Delaware Tech Run, White, & Blue 5k Run/1-mi Walk

Event Overview

We are hosting our 13th annual Run, White, & Blue 5K Run/Walk and 1-mi Fun Walk to benefit scholarships for veterans and first responders. Please join us on Thursday, September 3, 2026, and walk/run through Delaware Tech's Owens Campus in Georgetown. Race starts at 6 p.m.

New This Year: We are adding a RUCK division!

• Start Time: 6 p.m.

Race Registration

• Cost: $30 through Sept. 2
• Early Bird Special: $25 until July 17!
• Discounts: $15 for Veterans, 1st Responders, Active Military, and Students until Sept. 3
• Race Day Fee: $35 for all events

Packet Pickup

When: Pre-race packet pickup is at FINS Oyster Bar & Grill in Georgetown, DE, on Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 5 - 7 p.m.!

Race Course

The 13th annual Run, White, & Blue race is a flat and fast course through the campus of Delaware Tech.

Safe Running & Racing

Note: The following are not allowed in a Seashore Strider event:

• Bikes: Are not allowed to be on the course riding along/pacing any registered runner.
• Bandits: Non-registered runners are not allowed to be in the race running along/pacing any registered runner.
• Headphones: Wearing headphones/ear pods in both ears is discouraged for safety.
• Course Safety: All participants are required to run on the course that is marked with arrows and cones.

Failure to follow these race instructions could result in a disqualification from the event. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Race Timing

Timing will be done by the Seashore Strider Event Production team using the Chronotrack B Chip system.

Race Amenities

• Finish Line: Produced by “Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.”
• Awards Ceremony: Within 20 minutes following the final finisher.
• T-Shirts: Custom shirts for participants.
• Post-Race Refreshments: Available at the event.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the Overall Male & Female Champions, Overall Male & Female Masters (40+ yrs.), and the top three Male & Female finishers in various age categories. Awards will be presented within 20 minutes following the final runner crossing the finish.

Refunds/Deferral

The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy. However, we offer the following options:

• Transfer: To a future Seashore Strider-owned event of equal value before the end of the current year.
• Donation: Donate your entry fee to the charity associated with the event.
• Transfer/Defer: To the following year at the same event.
