DESCRIPTION

• Event: Join the Seashore Striders in Laurel, DE for a fun 5k Run/Walk called the Broad Creek Bash. Formally known as the Broad Creek Bike & Brew, this year you can still bike or if you would rather run or walk that has been added to the festival.

RACE DATE & TIME

• Date: August 22, 2026
• Time: 9:00 am start for the Run/Walk

RACE REGISTRATION

• Early Bird: $30.00 "Early Bird" Registration...through August 9th at midnight
• Pre Registration: $35.00 "Pre" Registration August 10th through August 21st at midnight
• Last Chance: $40.00 "Last Chance" Race-Day Registration open at 7:00 am and will close at 8:50 am

Registration will be done online through runsignup. All participants registered by Monday, August 17th will be guaranteed a t-shirt, while registrations received after August 17th are "first come".

Registration can also be done through the mail by printing out the universal entry form, filling it out, including payment, and mailing to Seashore Striders C/O Broad Creek Bash, 9 Gander Lane: Lewes, DE. 19958. Please mail early so that it arrives by Monday, August 17th to secure your shirt.

RACE TIMING

• Method: Timing will be done by the Seashore Strider Event Production team and will be using the Chronotrack B Chip system.

RACE AMENITIES

• Finish Line: Finish line produced by “Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.,” Post-Race awards celebration & after party will begin at 10 am at JANOSIK PARK 201 Front Street: Laurel, DE., custom printed tech t-shirts, custom awards.

AWARDS

• Categories: Awards will be presented to the Overall Male & Female Champions, Overall Male & Female Masters (40+ yrs.), as well as the top three (3) Male & Female finishers in the following 10 age categories: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Pick-up: If you miss the awards ceremony you may pick up locally in Lewes at the Western Sussex Chamber.

REFUNDS/DEFERRAL

• Policy: The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy: however, we make every possible attempt to please our client with the following options: 1. Transfer to a future Seashore Strider owned event of equal value before the end of the current year. 2. Donate your entry fee to the charity associated with the event. 3.
