OUR OFF-CENTERED RACE RETURNS!

Our off-centered race through Milton is back for another incredible year! Join us for our 19th annual Dogfish Dash on Sunday, Sept. 27th! This year, all proceeds will go to our friends at the Sussex County Land Trust, and though it’s the same race day you know and love, including yet another Recycled Costume Contest, and bringing back the walk for the dogs and their humans!

Registration: NOW OPEN for both the 5K(ish) race and our NEW 1.5 mile walk.

THE RACES

• Date: Sunday, Sept. 27 from 9 – 11 a.m. (Psst ... Judging for Recycled Costume Contest will be at 8 a.m.)
• Location: Dogfish Head Milton Brewery, 6 Cannery Village Center, Milton, DE 19968
• Registration Fee: $50 for runners and $40 for walkers, which includes runner goodies like a t-shirt, reusable bag, and two beverage tickets (21+ only) for the post-run party.
• Post-Run: Enjoy our draft beer trailer and activities from Sussex County Land Trust and other partners after the race.

PACKET PICK-UP EVENTS

• Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Brewings & Eats from 4 – 8 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 26 at our Milton Brewery from 12 - 5 p.m.

RACE TIMING

• Timing System: Done by the Seashore Strider Event Production team using the Chronotrack B Chip system.

RACE AWARDS

• Awards for Overall Male & Female Champion.
• Awards for Overall Male & Female Masters (40+ yrs).
• Top three finishers in 13 age categories: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
• Note: THERE ARE NO AWARDS IN THE 1.5M WALK.

RECYCLED COSTUME CONTEST

• Show up on race day with your costume made from recycled materials for a chance to win prizes.
• Materials available at both packet pick-up events.
• How It Works:
  • Gather recycled materials and craft a costume (bonus for Sussex County Land Trust theme).
  • Arrive in costume between 8 - 8:30 a.m. on race day for judging.

RECYCLED COSTUME CONTEST PRIZES

• Group Prizes: 1st Place: Private Beer Dinner, 2nd Place: Private Brewery Tour for up to 10 people, 3rd Place: Private Brewery Tour for up to 6 people.
• Individual Prizes: 1st Place: Dogfish Head x Grateful Dead LED, 2nd and 3rd Place: Dogfish Head Swag.

BEER & BENEVOLENCE

• All proceeds will benefit the Sussex County Land Trust.
• Participants help protect Sussex County’s natural resources through proceeds of the Dogfish Dash.

JOIN OUR RUN CLUB

• Join us for a 3(ish)-mile run through Rehoboth Beach every second and fourth Wednesday at 6 p.m.
• Registration discount: 10% off for runners who join us before September 1st!
• A chance to win a free Dogfish Dash registration for runners participating in the club.

FIRESIDE CHAT

• Date: Friday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m.
• Location: Dogfish INN, 105 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958
