12th Annual Delaware Tech Run, White, & Blue 5k Run/1-mi Walk

Event Overview

We are hosting our 12th annual Run, White & Blue 5K Run/Walk and 1-mi Fun Walk to benefit scholarships for veterans and first responders. Please join us on Thursday, September 3, 2026, and walk/run through Delaware Tech's Owens Campus in Georgetown. Race starts at 6 p.m.

Race Time

• Start Time: 6 p.m.

Race Registration

• Fee: $30 until Sept. 3
• Early Bird Special: $25 UNTIL JULY 25!
• Discounted Fee: $10 for Veterans, 1st Responders, Active Military, and Students until Sept. 3
• Race Day Fee: $35 for all events

Packet Pickup

New this year: Pre-race packet pickup is at FINS Oyster Bar & Grill in Georgetown, DE, on Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 5 - 7 p.m.

Race Course

The 12th annual Run, White, & Blue race is a flat and fast course through the campus of Delaware Tech.

Safe Running & Racing

NOTE- THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT ALLOWED IN A SEASHORE STRIDER EVENT...THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL PARTICIPANTS.

• Bikes: Not allowed to be on the course riding along/pacing any registered runner
• Bandits: Non registered runners are not allowed to be in the race running along/pacing any registered runner
• Headphones: Discouraged wearing in both ears due to safety of hearing traffic
• Course Safety: All participants are required to run on the course that is marked with arrows and cones.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RACE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN A DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE EVENT.

Race Timing

Timing will be done by the Seashore Strider Event Production team and will be using the Chronotrack B Chip system.

Race Amenities

Finish line produced by “Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.,” Post-Race awards ceremony within 20 minutes following the final finisher, custom t-shirts, custom awards, post-race refreshments, and a great post party at Delaware Tech.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the Overall Male & Female Champions, Overall Male & Female Masters (40+ yrs.), as well as the top three (3) Male & Female finishers in the following age categories: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 & 70+. Awards will be presented within 20 minutes following the final runner crossing the finish.

Refunds/Deferral

The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy: however, we make every possible attempt to please our client with the following options:

• Transfer: To a future Seashore Strider owned event of equal value before the end of the current year.
• Donate: Your entry fee to the charity associated with the event or to the Event Charity.
• Transfer/Deferral: To the following year at the same event.
