Raleigh Run for Rare 5K

🏃‍♂️ 2026 Raleigh Run for Rare 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk

The National MPS Society will host a timed 5K run and 1 mile walk, beginning at 9 AM on Saturday, March 28. The 1 mile walk will begin at 9:05 AM. Packet pickup and day of registration will open at 7:30 AM. A picnic for attendees and volunteers will be held after the race!

🌐 Not able to join in person? Participate virtually!

It is just like any other 5K, except there is no official race location. You get to choose where, with whom, and even how you want to complete the 5K. By participating virtually, you can run the 5K at any time leading up to March 28th. It can even be done in increments, keeping track of your distance until you hit the 5K!

👕 Information on T-Shirts

• In-person runners: Shirts guaranteed for the first 300 registrants.
• Virtual runners: Register by February 23 to receive your shirt in time!
