Raleigh Run for Rare 5K

2026 Raleigh Run for Rare 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk

The National MPS Society will host a timed 5K run and 1 mile walk, beginning at 9 AM on Saturday, March 28. The 1 mile walk will begin at 9:05 AM. Packet pickup and day of registration will open at 7:30 AM. A picnic for attendees and volunteers will be held after the race!

• Event Time: 9 AM for 5K, 9:05 AM for 1 Mile Walk
• Registration: Opens at 7:30 AM
• Invited: Individuals of all ages and abilities
• Aim: Bring awareness to MPS and ML

Not able to join in person? Participate virtually!

It is just like any other 5K, except there is no official race location. You get to choose where, with whom, and even how you want to complete the 5K. By participating virtually, you can run the 5K at any time leading up to March 28th. It can even be done in increments: keep track of your distance until you hit the 5K!

Platinum Corporate Sponsorship - $2,000

• Includes: Corporate name and logo on back of t-shirt

Gold Corporate Sponsorship - $1,500

• Includes: Corporate name and logo on back of t-shirt

• Sign: Small sign at the event

Team Sponsorship Level 1 - $500

• Includes: Corporate name and logo on back of t-shirt

Team Sponsorship Level 2 - $300

• Includes: Corporate name and logo on back of t-shirt

• In-person runners: Shirts guaranteed for the first 300 registrants.
