Join us in Canandaigua, New York, for a premier running event that has been a community favorite for over 22 years. This year, we’re thrilled to introduce the Crosswinds Run Series (formally the Crosswinds 5K), featuring events for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities:

5K Course 🌄 The 5K

• Iconic Course: Our iconic, USATF-certified course is as fun as it is challenging, and perfect for both walkers and competitive runners.
• Exciting Route: Enjoy the exhilarating first downhill mile through the City of Canandaigua, followed by the renowned climb up West Lake Road.
• Strong Finish: Finish strong on the rolling hills of Ferris Hills.

New Challenge 🏔️ The 10K

• New for 2025: This carefully designed USATF-certified course builds on the tradition of the 5K’s hills.
• Exciting Challenge: Providing an exciting and rewarding challenge for seasoned runners.
• Time Limit: Participants should be prepared to complete the course within 90 minutes, as roads will reopen to traffic after this time.

For the Kids 🎉 Kids Fun Run

• Half-Mile Course: A half-mile course entirely on the Crosswinds campus, perfect for young runners (preschool - 5th grade).
• Fun Experience: Enjoy a safe and fun race day experience.
• Participation Perks: Every participant gets a t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, and access to a delightful snack table to celebrate their accomplishment!

Support Us 🙌 Support Without the Sweat

• No Running Required: Not a runner? You can still make an impact!
• Registration: With this option, you can register anytime before race day and receive a race shirt to show your support.
• Generosity: You can also choose to donate above and beyond the registration fee, knowing every dollar helps support The Spot and its incredible mission.

🎯 Our Mission

The Crosswinds Run Series is more than just a race - it’s a movement with a mission. All proceeds go to The Spot, a local organization providing free school supplies, clothing, food, and shoes to students in need within the Canandaigua and Victor school districts. Last year, with your incredible support and our valued business sponsorships, we raised an astounding $13,000 for The Spot. This year, with the expanded Run Series, we aim to go even further!
