Hopson Trail Runs - Give Cancer The Bird

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Run, Walk or Soar with us for the 5th annual Hopson Trail Runs- Give Cancer the Bird. Located in the Hamlet of Honeoye, you will experience beautiful fall foliage throughout the entire course without the annoyance of vehicle traffic.

• Distances: Two distances available, the traditional 5K and the only 9K in New York!
• Course: Combination of wide grassy trails through WoodsEdge Retreat and established trails through Sandy Bottom Park.
• Wildlife: You may have to dodge a few rabbits or squirrels or yield to a fairy or two in Hopson's Forest!
• Beneficiary: This year's beneficiary will be Thrive To Survive, which provides support to adults treated for cancer in specific counties.

🍻 Post-Race Celebration

Post race event at Birdhouse Brewery located across the street from the start/finish line.

• Activities: Live music, a complementary pint of Birdhouse beer, and fun with friends and family.
• Treats: Our friends from Dainty Donuts will be back again this year!
• Goodies: Participants receive a complimentary pack of donuts.

🎁 Registration Details

Register early to receive the coveted, sweet insulated grocery tote. Limited quantities available - 1st come, 1st receive.

🏆 Awards

5K: Custom made awards will be presented to the 1st place overall female & male finishers, 1st place overall masters (40+) male & female, and "middle of the flock!"

9K: Hopson Trail Runs will donate $ to each winner's recognized charity of choice. Categories include 1st place overall female & male finishers, 1st place overall masters (40+) male & female.

Every finisher will receive a really cool, custom designed, locally produced finisher medal.

📅 T-Shirt Registration

Register by September 25th to guarantee a t-shirt. After September 25th, a limited surplus may be available.
