Take Flight Kids Dash

Event Overview

Ready for takeoff! Downtown Perrysburg Inc. is thrilled to once again host the Take Flight Kids Dash, a free Winterfest favorite for children ages 2–10.

Race Description

Inspired by Perrysburg’s iconic airplane sculpture, this joyful dash is all about fun, imagination, and letting kids move—not about who finishes first. It’s also the perfect way for little ones to burn off some extra energy after enjoying hot cocoa and s’mores at Winterfest.

Race Details

• Location: E. Second street between Louisiana and Elm (across the street from the tent).
• Road Closure: 1:30pm on race day.
• Start Time: 2:00 p.m., with children divided into age groups.
• Youngest Flyers: They will head out first.

Participant Gifts

Every participant will receive an airplane kit to build, play, and Take Flight into the year ahead.

Registration Information

Pre-registration is required for all racers.
