Join us on Saturday, September 13th 2025 for the 1st annual DNA Dash 5k run and fun walk presented by Tough Genes.

💡 About Tough Genes

• Founded by: Parents of a child with IRF2BPL-Related Disorder.
• Misson: To advance scientific knowledge and medical understanding of IRF2BPL gene.
• Goal: Transform lives by driving breakthroughs and increasing awareness.

🏃‍♀️ Race Formats

• In Person: Timed race.
• In Person: Fun run/walk.
• Virtual: Run/walk from anywhere.
• Participation: 5K YOUR WAY!

🌍 Virtual DNA Dash

If you can't make the race and still want to participate, sign up for the virtual race and we will mail your race shirt! Run your virtual race any time. Cost is the same as the in-person event and includes shipping within the US. There are no awards for the virtual event, however you can enter your results after you complete your run/walk if you wish.

📅 In Person Race Details

• 9:00 am: Packet Pickup Opens.
• 9:50 am: Welcome message.
• 10:00 am: Timed 5k race begins.
• 10:05 am: Fun run/walk 5k begins.

🏆 Awards Ceremony

• Time: 11:30 am.
• Overall Winners: Male and Female prizes for the timed race.
• Runner Up: Male and Female prizes for the timed race.
• Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & up.

💲 Pricing

• Cost: $35 for those over age 10, $40 on Race Day (race shirt not guaranteed).
• Recommendation: Be sure to preregister for the race now to secure your t-shirt and the lowest pricing!

📈 Results

Results will be live during the event and posted on the Run Signup page. The race is professionally timed by Second Sole Toledo Race Services.
