19th Annual Hungry Duck Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The 19th Annual Hungry Duck race benefits our local non-profit partners in the fight against hunger. Together we can run or walk for an incredible cause to help our community.

📍 Event Location

The race will take place on July 4th, 2024, at:

204 W E Grand River Ave, Brighton, MI 48116 (just behind the BP Gas Station on the corner of East and St. Paul St.)

🗓️ Race Start Times

• Half Marathon: 6:30am
• 10K & 5K Run/Walk: 6:45am

🗺️ Course Overview

The course starts in downtown Brighton, continuing into local scenic areas and returning downtown to finish. The course is:

• Paved and Dirt: Mostly paved with portions on hard-packed dirt roads
• Flat Terrain: Mostly flat with a few "modest" hills to add a little challenge
• Course Closure: The half marathon course will be closed at 9:45am
• Support: Water stations, mile markers, and course monitors along the way!

💰 Entry Fee

Half Marathon:

• $40: Early registration thru March 31st
• $50: Thru June 28th
• $60: Late registration through race day

10K Run/Walk:

• $30: Early registration thru March 31st
• $35: Thru June 28th
• $40: Late registration through race day

5K Run/Walk:

• $25: Early registration thru March 31st
• $30: Thru June 28th
• $35: Late registration through race day

Registration for Half Marathon, 10K & 5K includes:

• Race number: With timing system included
• T-Shirt: Gender-specific tech T-Shirt
• Medal: Race medal
• Food: Post-race food spread. *Note:* Shirts cannot be guaranteed for late entries.

📦 Packet Pickup

Pre-race: Running Lab in downtown Brighton, 409 W. Main St. 810-225-9123 (Located across from Great Harvest Bread Co.)

• July 1st - July 3rd: 10am - 7pm

Race Day:

• July 4th: 5:30am - 6:30am at start/finish area. Must be in line before 6:30am.

Top male and female overall and Masters: three deep male and female in age categories.
