Spectrum for Living - Michael B. Carpenter 5K, Walk & Doggie Dash

Event Overview

Come out and support Spectrum for Living at our Michael B. Carpenter 5K, Walk & Doggie Dash, benefiting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities! This exciting 5K event will take place at Overpeck Park (Ridgefield Park Area III), featuring a USATF Certified Course.

• Date: 2026-04-18
• Location: 199 Challenger Road, Ridgefield Park, NJ
• Registration Opens: 8:30 AM
• Race Starts: 10:00 AM

Awards and lunch will follow around 11:00 AM.

Race Kicking Off

The race kicks off near the amphitheater, where parking is available. If you’re coming from Challenger Road, the amphitheater and great lawn will be on your right.

Participation Details

Everyone is welcome to run, walk, or roll through the park with or without your dog. Just make sure your dog is leashed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and well-behaved with people and other dogs.

Registration Information

• Pre-registration: Encouraged, but day-of registration will also be available.
• Sign up by: April 2nd to guarantee your event t-shirt!
• Early-Bird Rate: $35 through April 2nd, 12:00 PM.
• Day-of Registration: $40, starting at 8:30 AM.

Special Offer for Spectrum Clients

All Spectrum for Living Clients are free! Residential clients will be signed up through their Group Home. Community clients should contact Elizabeth Boyajian directly (eboyajian@spectrumforliving.org) to sign up.
