Join us for an inspiring community event that caps off National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Friends of the CACGC 5k &: 1 mile Fun Walk marks the anniversary of our new Child Advocacy Center of Gloucester County (CACGC) facility and welcomes our newest team member, GCPO K9 Walt, while raising awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month. All proceeds will go to the Friends of the CACGC. The Friends of the Child Advocacy Center of Gloucester County serves as a dedicated nonprofit support organization that works to advance the mission of the CAC through fundraising, community outreach, and resource development. Through their efforts, they help ensure the CAC can continue providing critical services to child abuse victims and their families in Gloucester County.

🏁 Race Experience

This professionally ChronoTrack chip-timed 5K run/walk winds through scenic routes surrounding our new CAC facility, offering participants a unique opportunity to be among the first to experience our new location while supporting child advocacy efforts in our community. Each participant will receive a timing chip to ensure accurate race results and seamless finish-line tracking, with a finish line video!

• Course: A beautiful 5K course suitable for both runners and walkers
• Special Guest: Special appearance by K9 Walt, our facility's newest four-legged team member dedicated to providing comfort to young survivors
• Celebration: Post-race celebration with refreshments and community resources about child abuse prevention

👟 Commemorative & Awards

• T-Shirts: Commemorative t-shirts for the first 100 registered participants, so register early!
• Awards: Awards to top 3 males and females, and first place male and female in the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+

K9 Walt's presence adds another layer of support for the young people we serve, offering comfort during difficult times.
